The Meaning of OM
Om represents everything said to be the seed of all creation.
It is considered to be the most sacred mantra in Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism.
Om is the Universe. Whatsoever has existed, whatsoever exists and whatsoever shall exist is OM.
And whatever transcends, Past, Present and Future is also OM.
Om is comprised of 3 distinct Sanskrit sounds A - U - M with the A and U creating the O and the Mmmmmm.
It has the same roots as the words "I am" or "Amen."
It is the Divine, the All, The All that is.
It is the slow calming chant associated with the sound that was made when all of creation came into existence.
Using the word OM can bring you profound inner peace and contentment.
